Mak, a dedicated veterinary assistant and proud Minnesota native, draws upon their background as a US Army veteran to infuse their work with a sense of duty and compassion. With their two beloved dogs, River Roe, a Golden Retriever, and Salem, a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute mix, alongside their two cats, Mak deeply understands the importance of the human-animal bond and strives to enhance the lives of pets and their pet parents.
Currently aspiring to become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Mak places a strong emphasis on client education, transparency, and providing peaceful end-of-life services. They believe in creating happy and comfortable experiences for apprehensive patients, ensuring their well-being is always prioritized. Mak’s commitment to excellence extends from their pet boarding experiences, where they focused on providing personalized care to ensure pets feel safe and at ease while away from home.
During their free time, Mak indulges in their passions, including playing slow-pitch softball, singing, and tackling house projects. They also enjoy exploring the culinary scene by trying new restaurants, adding a dash of adventure to their life outside of the clinic.
